FAQ’s – 11+ Intensive Revision & Mock Exams 2019
1. When can we get 1. Are these revision and mock sessions suitable for the 11+ examination my child will be taking? ?
2. How many children are there in the revision classes and mock analysis sessions?
We have children from across the Midlands attending these courses. Every year is different, however on overage we have approximately a ratio of 10 students to one of our 11+ specialists for revision classes and analysis sessions.

Children learn in various ways whether they it be visual, auditory, reading / writing or kinesthetic. All our tutors are very experienced with teaching children using various methods to ensure they understand what is being taught. Eleven plus tutors give lots of examples whether it be using the whiteboard, discussing verbally or demonstrating practically.
5. How do I know if my child is suitable for the revision classes and mock exams?
If your child is sitting an eleven plus exam in September then these revision courses help prepare them for these exams. However not all children are suitable for the eleven plus entrance examinations. A general rule is that your child should already be achieving above average at his/her school. In addition to this we are happy for you to come in for a free consultation and assessment to gage suitability. Please contact us to arrange.
6. Will I be informed regularly of my child's progress and achievement?
7. Will my child receive work to take home?
Children are given revision booklets after attending the intensive revision sessions to further help them revise and prepare for the actual 11+ examinations. Mock examination papers cannot be taken away, however tutors will highlight areas a child needs to work on after papers have been marked and analysed.
8. What qualifications and experience do the tutors have?
All our eleven plus tutors are fully qualified teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). In addition to this our eleven plus tutors have specialist knowledge, experience and skills around delivering content relevant to the eleven plus entrance examinations.
9. Can I get help with the fees?

FAQ’s – GCSE Intensive Revision 2019
1. What will my child be taught and are these interevision revision sessions suitable for the final GCSE examination my child will sit?
Depending on the days and sessions you pick or if you choose to book the whole programme, your children are taught English, maths and /or science in line with the requirements of all major examination boards and especially examination boards used by local schools for GCSE maths, English and the sciences. Our revision courses are designed for last minute preparation for final year examinations. The material that is reviewed in these sessions is relevant to all examination boards and delivered in a manner so as to impact final exam performance.
2. How many children are there in the revision classes and mock analysis sessions?

However not all students will be suitable for the revision courses. When a child is not suitable we endeavour to provide alternative and more personalised provision. Please contact us to arrange.
