FAQ’s
1. What will my child be taught and are these intensive revision sessions suitable for the final GCSE examination my child will sit?
Depending on the days and sessions you pick or if you choose to book the whole programme, your children are taught English, maths and /or science in line with the requirements of all major examination boards and especially examination boards used by local schools for GCSE maths, English and the sciences. Our revision courses are designed for last minute preparation for final year examinations. The material that is reviewed in these sessions is relevant to all examination boards and delivered in a manner so as to impact final exam performance.
2. How many children are there in the revision classes and mock analysis sessions?
We have children from across the Midlands attending these courses. Every year is different, however on overage we have approximately a ratio of 10 students to one of our subject specialists for revision classes.
3. How are students taught?
Pupils learn in various ways whether it be visual, auditory, reading / writing or kinesthetic. All our tutors are very experienced with teaching students, using various methods to ensure they understand what is being taught. Intensive revision tutors give lots of examples whether it be using the whiteboard, discussing verbally or demonstrating practically.
4. How do I know if my child is suitable for the revision classes?
If your child is sitting a GCSe exam in May/June this academic year, then these revision courses will help prepare them for these exams. However not all students will be suitable for the revision courses. When a child is not suitable we endeavour to provide alternative and more personalised provision. Please contact us to arrange.
5. Will I be informed regularly of my child's progress and achievement?

Students are given revision booklets after attending the intensive revision sessions to further help them revise and prepare for their actual GCSE examinations.
7. What qualifications and experience do the tutors have?
All our intensive revision tutors are fully qualified teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or subject specialists with considerable experience of the relevant examination boards. In addition to this our intensive revision tutors have specialist knowledge , experience and skills around delivering content relevant to their subject specialism.
8. Can I get help with the fees?

9. Does my child need to attend all of the intensive revision session?
No, you can pick and choose the most suitable sessions based on individual needs.
